Project Development

I started the KITT-X Project in the spring of 2000. My project car was a 1992 Pontiac Firebird. The engine is a V6 3.1L. I have done some "bolt-on" mods to get more horses out of the engine, though, it would be nice to have a 350 in there.

When I got the car it was in really good shape and had only 54,700 miles on it. This car was never intended to be a daily driver. At the time the project began I had a Geo Metro that served that purpose, but now it's the mini-van. ;)

My K.I.T.T. replica/conversion is still garage kept and is driven on occasion in nice weather and cars shows.
