I started with the external conversion first. It seemed reasonable to do, since the outside of the car is what people see most.
My first conversion part was a set of turbo cast rims with the bowling ball hubcaps. After that I got the nose, hood, etc. The biggest and most expensive part of the conversion was the paint job. I spared no expense for the job since I felt that a show quality paint job was essential to a quality KITT conversion.
