My Lexan T-Tops needed some work after 17 years. As is common with these tops, the top clear coat was cracking and deteriorating. So, I finally got around to cleaning them up. I used 1000 grit wet sandpaper, then 1500 grit paper to get the old coating off. After that I used my orbital buffer and various degrees of Meguiar's rubbing compound to shine them up. I finished with hand polishing and final glaze. I think the came out good and look a lot better than before.
So I spec'd out one of the new Camaros on Chevy's website. I must say it looks pretty cool with the black exterior, spoiler, and beige interior. Definately something I'd like get someday.
I finally got my windows tinted yesterday. The job was done by First Class tint. Paul did an excellent job and I was very happy with the "we come to you" service. This should help cut down on the summer heat when I'm out at shows and cruises.
